The RhinoBuildsRC Electronics Service & Training Support
In today's world of RC electronics, the major RC electronics manufacturers are offering you the ability to fine-tune your RC for every type of terrain and usage. Now more than ever the setup of your ESC, motor, controller, receiver and even servos has become a major task to setup and program. Don't forget you will also need to learn the steps involved in setting-up your electronics setting for future use. At RhinoBuildsRC, we not only program your RC electronics to the most optimal performance output for the type of terrain and driving you will be putting your RC through but after we setup your electronics, we even offer you free training on programming your electronics before you leave the shop or over the phone, plus we provide three (3) months of telephone support for future programming setup questions you may have at no additional cost!
ESC Programming
Our ESC installation & Programming Service includes installation and complete programming of your ESC. This service includes any adjustments of your controller, receiver and motor based upon your type of driving style, gearing and usage.
If you already have an ESC installed and just want us to setup your ESC, we offer the same service of making any adjustments to controller, receiver and motor needed.
Price is $50 for combo or single install, programming and testing (Includes connectors and wiring).
Price is $20 to program an ESC already mounted.
Motor Analyzer & Timing Setup
At RhinoBuildsRC our motor analyzer and timing service utilizes a "State-Of-The-Art" precision electronic test equipment that is especially designed for measuring the KV value, RMP, current drawn, motor timing, vibration noise level and checking the function of hall effect sensors of a brushless motor.
One of the most important things you can do to increase the power and performance of today's high-performance motors is to adjust the timing. The problem is if you do not know what you are doing and you do not adjust both the motor and ECS properly, you can overheat or burnout a motor very quickly. We setup your timing for you, and we will make the necessary adjustments while testing the settings with temp-gauges to assure your safe timing levels.
Price is $10 per brushless sensored or un-sensored motor. This service is ideal for brushless 540/550 motors (10 scale) running 2 cell Lipo batteries. 8 scale and larger motors we only provide timing service.

Controller & Receiver Setup
When you are new to the RC hobby or you just want your controller setup for a certain driving feel and performance, we are here to take over the setup.
Our controller and receiver setup includes the following:
Binding the Controller to Receiver
Calibration of ESC to controller
End Points Adjustments
Sub-Trim (setting bellcrank position and servo)
EXPO (Steering & Throttle
Throttle Curves (if requested vs "linear")
Model Name setup
Frequency setup
90days of Free Phone Support
Price is $40 for all service and support.
ESC & Motor Soldering
Need to have that new ESC soldered to your motor, or did you need an ESC/Motor combo professionally soldered, we can perform these services for you.
If you are having us install install your motor or ESC we usually build in the soldering cost into the installation service pricing
Price is $30 for soldering and install, programming and testing plus cost for connectors and wire.
Price is $15 for soldering only, you install and program.

BEC Setup & Programming
Did you recently add a new servo or lights to your RC and now you are experiencing glitching issues or weak lights? Let us troubleshoot your electronics issue. Most of the time, we can add a glitch buster or BEC to solve these issues. We also program your ESC correctly to the right voltage to assure you wont burn-out your servo?
Price is $15 for install, programming, testing and any materials included in pricing.
Price is $10 if you just need ESC/BEC programming and testing.
Battery Connector Soldering
We can solder on new battery connectors to meet your power supply needs. Whether you want to change over to a more reliable connector like a XT90, EC5 or need a new Traxxas connector, we can do this for you.
Generally we recommend going with XT90 or EC5 connectors because of the ability for these connectors to take today's batteries high-voltage and amps output. Plus they tend to not separate during usage and harder for you to cause a reverse-polarity issue.
Price is $3.50 per connector for soldering service plus the cost of the connectors.
